About Sweepa and the factory
Who makes Sweepa?
Sweepa is made by Sweepro Manufacturing, the production division of Sweepro Group, in Sri Lanka. Sweepro Manufacturing is the sole global manufacturer of authentic Sweepa natural rubber cleaning products.
Where is it made?
All of Sweepro's manufacturing is in Sri Lanka, in one factory that makes the product from raw rubber to finished goods, with in-house research and development.
What is Sweepa made of?
Natural rubber. The original Sweepa natural rubber broom was introduced worldwide in 1992.
Where does the natural rubber come from?
From Sri Lankan farming families, partners of Sweepro for 35 years, who supply exclusively to us.
Are the moulds made in house?
Yes. Moulds are machined in house, so a new shape or a change does not wait on an outside toolmaker.
Which countries is Sweepa sold in?
More than 90 countries.

Ordering and enquiries
How do I make an enquiry?
Use the quick enquiry on the contact page: a few short questions, and then your own email app opens with everything written out. Nothing is sent until you press send.
Can I order small quantities?
Bulk is our main business, but smaller quantities are always open to discussion. Tell us what you need and we will do our best to meet it, even if that is only a few units.
Do you publish prices?
No. Prices are on our separate price list, available on request, and every order is confirmed in writing.
Is there a catalogue?
Yes. The Sweepa product catalogue is available on request, together with the price list.
Which colours do you make?
Sweepa comes in black and in a choice of colours. Tell us what you need and we will tell you what is available for your order.
Do you make private label products?
Yes. Natural rubber products are made to your specification, under your brand, in the factory that makes Sweepa. A sample, a drawing or a photo with the sizes is enough to start.
Do you also make technical rubber parts?
Yes, through Sweepro Tech: seals, gaskets, O-rings and moulded parts, made to your size, in bulk.

Natural rubber and the brands
Is natural rubber hypoallergenic?
Sweepa describes natural rubber as hypoallergenic, but it contains natural latex proteins, so anyone with a diagnosed latex allergy should check with their doctor before use.
Who owns the Sweepa and Sweepro brands?
Sweepa® and Sweepro® are registered trademarks of Sweepro Group International.
